Some fresh shit I just heard, Ruined Families are a band from Athens, Greece who make extremely noisy hardcore/screamo/noise rock (sometimes almost a black metal feel) or whatever you wanna call this. Their sound is pretty all over the place, sometimes quite bummed out and reflective but just as much kind of violent and chaotic. Vocalist reminds of some Jesus Lizard or Unsane type shit trying to do Converge, definitely lying on the more pissed off side of things. Probably going to jam this a lot this week and you should too, go grab dis shit and break stuff.

SHINING (NORWAY)-BLACKJAZZ (2010)

These dudes are releasing a new album this year so I decided to put this one up, which is a fantastic album. Another band who is lost in genres but know how to bring them together, somewhere between The Dillinger Escape Plan's earlier noise, Nine Inch Nails dirtier moments, Motorhead's swagger, Darkthrone's evil atmosphere, and Mike Patton's crazier  moments is this album. TERRA TENEBROSA-THE PURGING (2013)

Just at look at that fucking album cover, don't you want to listen to whatever that is? Terra Tenebrosa are a Swedish band who make quite odd music that really doesn't know or care what genre it is. Black metalish parts are surrounded by noise and freaky samples that create quite the atmosphere. Check this out if you have the balls.

WHITE LUNG-SORRY (2012)

3 chicks, 1 dude, and a whole bunch of noise. This is an awesome record that came out last year from these ruckus mofos from Vancouver, Canada, which is their second full length I believe. Record is really quick and to the point, quite an easy one to just sit down and jam. If you like pissed off chicks in punk bands, then this is probably your thing.

2013 has just been spitting hot fire this year with releases from Ash Borer, Portal, Rorcal, Voivod, Shai Hulud, Cult of Luna, Darkthrone, Boris, Rotting Christ, KEN Mode, Iron Lung and now this. Regarde Les Hommes Tomber is a French band who use black-metal as their main ingredient in a melting pot of genres including hardcore, post-metal, and sludge. Not to much is known about these dudes but they are TRVE and this shit kicks ass.
